OIL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL OIL PUMP RELIEF VALVE


    1. Coat the oil pump relief valve with engine oil, and insert the oil pump relief valve and oil pump relief valve spring into the valve hole.

    2. Install the oil pump relief valve plug.

      Torque:
      49 N*m  { 500 kgf*cm, 36 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL OIL PUMP ROTOR SET


    1. Apply new engine oil to the drive rotor and driven rotor.

    2. B003P09C03
      *a Matchmark

      Place the drive rotor and driven rotor into the timing chain cover sub-assembly with the matchmarks facing upward.

  3. INSTALL OIL PUMP COVER


    1. Install the oil pump cover with the 7 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.1 N*m  { 93 kgf*cm, 81 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL OIL PUMP OUTLET PIPE


    1. Install a new O-ring to the oil pump cover.

    2. Install a new O-ring to the oil pump outlet pipe.

    3. Install the oil pump outlet pipe with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      9.1 N*m  { 93 kgf*cm, 81 in.*lbf }
