THERMOSTAT REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INTERCOOLER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

    Click here

  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE PCV PIPE

    Click here

  8. REMOVE COMPRESSOR INLET ELBOW

    Click here

  9. DISCONNECT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER TUBE CLAMP (for Automatic Transmission)

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the automatic transmission oil cooler tube clamp.

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE


    1. Disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the water inlet.

  11. REMOVE WATER INLET

    1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness from the water inlet.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and water inlet.

  12. REMOVE THERMOSTAT


    1. Remove the thermostat from the cylinder block.

    2. Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
