Tech Tips
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
Note
Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.
REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE
Disconnect the brake line from the front flexible hose with a union nut wrench while holding the front flexible hose with a wrench.
Note
Do not bend or damage the brake line.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake line from the connecting point.
Remove the 2 clips and front flexible hose.
REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL CYLINDER TUBE LH
Using a union nut wrench, remove the front No. 1 wheel cylinder tube LH from the disc brake cylinder assembly LH.
Note
Do not bend or damage the front No. 1 wheel cylinder tube LH.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the front No. 1 wheel cylinder tube LH from the connecting points.
