FRONT SPEED SENSOR(for 4WD and Pre-Runner) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

    Click here

  2. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH


    1. B003KJZ

      Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps.

    3. B003REG

      Detach the 2 clamps.

    4. B003NO1

      Detach the clamp.

    5. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 harness clamps.

    6. B003S1G

      Detach the clamp.

    7. Remove the bolt and harness clamp.

    8. B003LVL

      Detach the clamp.

    9. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor LH from the steering knuckle.

      Note

      Keep the sensor tip and sensor installation hole free from foreign matter.

    10. Remove the bolt and skid control sensor clamp from the steering knuckle.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SPEED SENSOR RH


    1. for 1GD-FTV, 2GD-FTV:


      1. B003PYY

        Remove the 2 bolts and upper arm heat insulator from the front suspension tower.

    2. B003RVX

      Disconnect the connector and detach the clamp.

    3. Detach the 2 clamps.

    4. B003PK6

      Detach the 2 clamps.

    5. B003QPW

      Detach the clamp.

    6. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 harness clamps.

    7. B003JP0

      Detach the clamp.

    8. Remove the bolt and harness clamp.

    9. B003RXX

      Detach the clamp.

    10. Remove the bolt and front speed sensor RH from the steering knuckle.

      Note

      Keep the sensor tip and sensor installation hole free from foreign matter.

    11. Remove the bolt and skid control sensor clamp from the steering knuckle.
