  1. INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RESET SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (Tire Pressure Warning Reset Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      1 (E) - 4 (INT) Tire pressure warning reset switch pressed Below 1 Ω
      Tire pressure warning reset switch not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the tire pressure warning reset switch.

      Component without harness connected

      (Tire Pressure Warning Reset Switch)
      *b Indicator

      Check that the LED illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the tire pressure warning reset switch, and check the illumination condition.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Switch Condition

        Battery positive (+) →3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the tire pressure warning reset switch.
