REAR STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR


    1. Install the rear stabilizer bar.

  2. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BUSH

      *a Bush Stopper
      *b Outer Side
      *c Front of the Vehicle

      Install the 2 rear stabilizer bushes.

      Tech Tips


      • Install each bush to the outer side of the bush stopper on the stabilizer bar.

      • Install each bush with the slit of the bush facing the front of the vehicle.

  3. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BRACKET COVER


    1. B003LU4

      Install the 2 rear stabilizer bracket covers with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      45 N*m  { 459 kgf*cm, 33 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Make sure that the arrow of the bracket faces the top of the vehicle.

  4. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B003PH8

      Install the rear stabilizer link assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      75 N*m  { 765 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud in place.

  5. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System)

  9. INSPECT HEADLIGHT AIMING (w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System)
