FRONT STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR


    1. Install the front stabilizer bar to the vehicle body.

  2. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH


    1. B003PZXC01
      *a Bush Stopper
      *b Outer Side
      *c Front of the Vehicle

      Install the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushes.

      Tech Tips


      • Install each bush to the outer side of the bush stopper on the stabilizer bar.

      • Install each bush with the slit of the bush facing the front of the vehicle.

  3. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET


    1. B003LFB

      Install the 2 front stabilizer brackets with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      48 N*m  { 489 kgf*cm, 35 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Make sure the bracket's arrows face the front of the vehicle.

  4. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B003QGC

      Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      94 N*m  { 959 kgf*cm, 69 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud in place.

  5. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the 2 engine under brace sub-assemblies with the 10 bolts.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

  9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL

  10. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT

  11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System)

  12. INSPECT AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System)

  13. INSPECT HEADLIGHT AIMING (w/ Automatic Headlight Beam Level Control System)
