FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY

Do not try to remove the black nylon tube as it is welded to the fuel suction tube assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

    Tech Tips

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump.

      Install the fuel pump harness and connect the fuel pump connector.

    2. Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring.

      *1 O-Ring
      *2 Spacer
      *a Supporter

      Install the O-ring and spacer to the supporter of the fuel pump as shown in the illustration.

      Attach the 3 claws to the claw holes and install the fuel pump and suction filter assembly.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK

      Attach the 2 claws to the claw holes and install the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

      Attach the 3 claws to the claw holes.

      Connect the fuel tube and wire harness.

    4. B003KDM

      Attach the claw on the end of the tube to the claw hole. Connect the tube to the 2 clamps on the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

    5. B003S3S

      Connect the fuel pump connector and wire harness.
