PCV VALVE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL PCV VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B003Q85C05
      *1 O-Ring

      Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring.

    2. Install the PCV valve sub-assembly.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • When reusing the PCV valve sub-assembly, inspect the O-ring.

      • Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing the PCV valve sub-assembly.

      If the O-ring has scratches or cuts, replace the PCV valve sub-assembly.

    3. Connect the PCV hose to the PCV valve sub-assembly, and slide the clip to secure the hose.
