PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY (w/ Air Pump Heater)


    1. Check the heater resistance.

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 (APH+) - 3 (APHG) -20°C (-4°F) 3.6 to 17.6 Ω
        -10°C (14°F) 3.4 to 16.5 Ω
        0°C (32°F) 3.1 to 15.4 Ω
        10°C (50°F) 2.8 to 14.3 Ω
        20°C (68°F) 2.7 to 13.2 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the air pump assembly.
