DIESEL THROTTLE BODY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL VENTURI ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Place a new gasket and the venturi assembly on the intake manifold.

   2. Connect the 2 connectors to the venturi assembly.

2. INSTALL INTAKE FLANGE

   
   

   1. Install a new gasket and the intake flange to the venturi assembly with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:

      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

   2. Connect the PCV hose to the intake flange, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.

   3. Connect the connector to the manifold absolute pressure sensor.

   4. Connect the heater water hose to the intake flange with the bolt.

      Torque:

      18.1 N*m  { 185 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

3. INSTALL INTAKE PIPE

   
   

   1. Install the intake pipe to the intake flange with the 2 bolts and tighten the hose clamp.

      Torque:

      for bolt

      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

      for hose clamp

      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

4. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE

   
   

   1. Install the No. 1 air cleaner hose to the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and intake pipe with the 2 clamps.

      Torque:

      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the connector to the intake air temperature sensor.
