DIESEL THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the diesel throttle body assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE PIPE


    1. B003J2I

      Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure sensor connector.

    2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the gas filter.

    3. Loosen the 2 hose clamps.

    4. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 intake pipe together with the No. 1 air hose and No. 2 air hose.

  2. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the diesel throttle body 2 connectors.

    2. B003KVZ

      Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and the diesel throttle body assembly.

    3. Remove the gasket from the intake air connector.
