AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR REMOVAL

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed, or replaced during the air fuel ratio sensor removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  2. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  3. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold.

      Note

      Do not damage the air fuel ratio sensor.

  4. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1)


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. B003JTQN01

      Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold.
