  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE TIMING BELT

  3. REMOVE INJECTION PUMP ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 COMPRESSOR MOUNTING BRACKET

    Click here

  5. REMOVE WATER OUTLET HOUSING

    Click here

  6. REMOVE WATER HOSE JOINT

    Click here

  7. REMOVE PUMP BRACKET

    Click here

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING BRACKET RH

  9. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING PULLEY

    Click here

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 TIMING BELT COVER

    Click here

  11. REMOVE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 TIMING BELT IDLER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  13. REMOVE NO. 2 TIMING BELT IDLER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT TIMING PULLEY

  15. REMOVE OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 16 bolts and 2 nuts.

    2. A01SBV4

      Insert the blade of an oil pan seal cutter between the oil pan sub-assembly and cylinder block sub-assembly, cut off the applied sealer and remove the oil pan sub-assembly.

      Note


      • Do not use an oil pan seal cutter for the timing belt case side and rear oil seal retainer.

      • Be careful not to damage the oil pan flange.

  16. REMOVE OIL STRAINER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, oil strainer and gasket from the cylinder block sub-assembly.

  17. REMOVE FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL

  18. REMOVE TIMING BELT CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01SEFA

      Remove the 5 bolts, timing belt case sub-assembly and gasket from the cylinder block sub-assembly.
