Do not try to remove the black nylon tube as it is welded to the fuel suction tube assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL SUB-TANK


    1. A01LFZ6

      Disconnect the fuel pump connector and wire harness.

    2. A01LC53

      Using a small screwdriver, detach the claw on the end of the tube from the claw hole. Disconnect the tube from the clamp.

    3. A01LC58

      Disconnect the 2 fuel tubes and wire harness.

    4. A01LAM0

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws from the claw holes.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    5. A01LAUH

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws from the claw holes and remove the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

      Note

      Do not damage the No. 1 fuel sub-tank.

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  3. REMOVE FUEL PUMP


    1. A01LEEG

      Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws from the claw holes and disconnect the fuel pump.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A01LASW

      Disconnect the fuel pump connector and remove the fuel pump harness.

    3. A01LC3SC01
      *1 O-Ring
      *2 Spacer

      Remove the O-ring and spacer from the fuel pump.
