DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE
PRECAUTION
Note
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
REMOVE CANISTER
DISCONNECT NO. 1 FUEL HOSE
Detach the No. 1 fuel hose from the fuel filter assembly.
Disconnect the No. 1 fuel hose.
DISCONNECT FUEL MAIN TUBE
Disconnect the fuel main tube.
REMOVE FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY
Remove the 3 nuts and fuel filter assembly.
INSTALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY
Install the fuel filter assembly with the 3 nuts.
CONNECT FUEL MAIN TUBE
Connect the fuel main tube.
CONNECT NO. 1 FUEL HOSE
Connect the No. 1 fuel hose.
Attach the No. 1 fuel hose to the fuel filter assembly.
INSTALL CANISTER
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Note
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
