When replacing the diesel fuel filter assembly, use TOYOTA genuine parts.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE DIESEL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01LAFIC01
      *1 No. 1 Fuel Hose
      *2 No. 4 Fuel Hose

      Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 1 fuel hose and No. 4 fuel hose from the diesel fuel filter assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts and diesel fuel filter assembly from the fuel filter support.

  2. INSTALL DIESEL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY


    1. Install a new diesel fuel filter assembly to the fuel filter support with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      8.5 N*m  { 87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf }

    2. Connect the No. 1 fuel hose and No. 4 fuel hose to the diesel fuel filter assembly, and slide the 2 clamps to secure the hoses.

  3. BLEED AIR FROM FUEL SYSTEM
