ЗАДНИЙ САЛЬНИК КОЛЕНЧАТОГО ВАЛА УСТАНОВКА

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR ENGINE OIL SEAL


    1. A01SEC0N01

      Apply a light coat of MP grease to the lip of a new rear engine oil seal.

      Note


      • Do not allow foreign matter to contact the lip of the rear engine oil seal.

      • Do not allow MP grease to contact the dust seal.

    2. Using SST and a hammer, tap in the rear engine oil seal until its surface is flush with the rear engine oil seal retainer edge.

      Note


      • Wipe off any extra grease from the crankshaft.

      • Do not tap in the rear engine oil seal at an angle.

  2. INSTALL DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

      Using SST, hold the crankshaft.

      *1 Front Drive Plate Spacer
      *2 Drive Plate and Ring Gear Sub-assembly
      *3 Rear Drive Plate Spacer

      Install the front drive plate spacer, drive plate and ring gear sub-assembly and rear drive plate spacer to the crankshaft.

      Tech Tips


      • The front drive plate spacer is reversible.

      • As the rear drive plate spacer and drive plate and ring gear sub-assembly are not reversible, be sure to install it so that it is facing in the direction shown in the illustration.

    3. Clean the bolts and bolt holes.

    4. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads at the end of each of the 10 bolts.

      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent
    5. A01SBCCN01

      Install and uniformly tighten the 10 bolts in several steps in the sequence shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      74 N*m  { 755 kgf*cm, 55 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not start the engine for at least an hour after installing the drive plate and ring gear sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL FLYWHEEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)

      *a Hold

      Using SST, hold the crankshaft.

    2. Clean the bolt holes.

    3. A01SCVGN01

      Install the flywheel sub-assembly with the new 10 bolts and uniformly tighten the bolts in several steps in the sequence shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      26.5 N*m  { 270 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf }

    4. Mark the top of the bolts with paint.

    5. Tighten the 10 bolts 90° in the same sequence.

    6. Check that the paint marks are now at a 90° angle to the top.
