ENGINE HOOD MOULDING(for VELLFIRE) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT HOOD MOULDING PAD

      Remove the front hood moulding pad.

  2. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER WINDOW MOULDING LH

    Tech Tips

    When removing the front quarter window moulding LH, heat the front hood moulding assembly and front quarter window moulding LH a heat light.

    Standard
    Item Temperature
    Front Hood Moulding Assembly 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    Front Quarter Window Moulding LH 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

    CAUTION:


    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.

    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    1. Using a heat light, heat the front hood moulding assembly and front quarter window moulding LH.

    2. B006LB6

      Detach the claw and guide and remove the front quarter window moulding LH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER WINDOW MOULDING RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
