REAR BUMPER REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. 

      Install in this Direction

      Attach the guide to install the reflex reflector assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

   2. 

      Install the screw.

2. INSTALL REFLEX REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY RH

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PLATE LH

   
   

   1. 

      Fall Prevention Hook

      Connect the fall prevention hook.

   2. 

      Install in this Direction

      Attach the claw to install the rear bumper plate LH as shown in the illustration.

4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER PLATE RH

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

5. INSTALL REAR SPOILER NO. 1 PROTECTOR (w/ Rear Under Spoiler)

   Tech Tips

   When installing the rear spoiler No. 1 protector, heat the rear bumper moulding.

   Standard
   Item Temperature Rear Bumper Moulding 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)

   CAUTION:

   
   

   • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.

   • Touching the heat light may result in burns.

   • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

   1. Clean the rear bumper moulding surface.

      
      

      1. Remove the double-sided tape from the rear bumper moulding.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

         Note

         
         

         • Installing the rear bumper moulding with some double-sided tape remaining may cause poor adhesion. Perform this procedure until sufficiently removed it.

         • Make sure to use a cloth when removing. Using a screwdriver, etc., may cause damage and poor adhesion.

   2. Align the application start position and set the rear spoiler No. 1 protector as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      
      

      • Set the end point of the rear spoiler No. 1 protector so that it is between the two mark-off lines.

      • Press the rear spoiler No. 1 protector firmly to install it.

6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER MOULDING (w/ Rear Under Spoiler)

   
   

   1. Set the rear bumper moulding as shown in the illustration.

   2. Install the rear bumper moulding with the 15 clips in the figure direction.

7. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE

   
   

   1. Attach the clamp to install the No. 2 luggage room wire.
