FRONT BUMPER(for VELLFIRE) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

      B006N8A Rotation Direction

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin hold clip 90° and remove the 2 pin hold clips.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the pin hold clips on the other side.

    2. Remove the clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the clip on the other side.

      Remove the 4 clips and 2 screws.

    4. Put protective tape araund the front bumper cover.

    5. Remove the 3 clips and 2 bolts.

      Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

    8. Disconnect the connector.

    9. Detach the guide and remove the front bumper cover.

  4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Remove the front bumper energy absorber as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE THERMISTOR ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 8 bolts.

    2. Remove the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

      *a 90°
      B006N8A Rotation Direction
      B006NJK Remove in this Direction

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Using a screwdriver, turn the clip 90° and remove the clip.

    3. Detach the claw and remove front bumer side support LH as shown in the illustration.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
