HEADLIGHT ECU REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are installed, removed or replaced during the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH removal/installation are shown below.

Note

Even if the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH is replaced with a new one, vehicle information registration and initialization are not necessary.

Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE WASHER INLET (for RH Side)

      Remove the clip and washer inlet.

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    Note


    • If the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly has been dropped, replace it with a new one.

    • If the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH has been removed, replace the headlight gasket with a new one.

      *a Connector Lock Lever

      Release the connector lock lever and disconnect the connector.

    2. A01IGP7

      Remove the 3 screws and headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH.

    3. A01IGCG

      Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      Note

      Do not drop the connector in the headlight assembly LH.

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET

      Remove the headlight gasket.
