DESCRIPTION

The headlight sub-assembly (headlight leveling motor) receives a signal from the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly to operate. The headlight light control ECU sub-assembly receives a signal indicating the operating conditions of the headlight sub-assembly (headlight leveling motor).

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Result

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Turn on the headlights using the headlight dimmer switch.

    3. Check for DTCs.

    1. Temporarily replace the headlight housing sub-assembly LH (headlight leveling motor) with a new or normally functioning one.
