DESCRIPTION

The illumination of the cornering light is controlled by the headlight ECU sub-assembly.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (CORNERING LIGHT)

   
   

   1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test.

2. CHECK HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors to them.

      for ALPHARD:

      for VELLFIRE:

      Click here

   2. Check that the cornering light RH operate normally.

      OK
      Cornering light LH operate normally.

      Result
      Proceed to OK NG

   REPLACE HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Click here

3. CHECK HEADLIGHT UNIT ASSEMBLY LH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (to Headlight ECU Sub-assembly LH)
      *b	Component without harness connected (to Headlight Cornering LED Unit LH)

      Remove the headlight unit assembly LH.

      for ALPHARD:

   2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B-6 - G-1 Always Below 1 Ω B-5 - G-2 Always Below 1 Ω
