LIGHTING SYSTEM Turn Signal Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The combination meter assembly receives the turn signal switch information and controls the turn signal lights.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the G113*1 or G2*2 headlight dimmer switch assembly connector.

      *1: for LHD

      *2: for RHD

    2. Disconnect the G16 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G113-11 (TL) - G16-27 (EL) Always Below 1 Ω
      G113-12 (TR) - G16-26 (ER)
      G113-13 (CR) - G16-25 (SW)

      G113-11 (TL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      G113-12 (TR) - Body ground
      G113-13 (CR) - Body ground
      for RHD

      G2-19 (TL) - G16-27 (EL) Always Below 1 Ω
