DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when an internal malfunction in the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly occurs.

The headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH (main) outputs DTC B242C and B242D.

After the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH (main) is replaced, vehicle information registration and initialization are necessary.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Result

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Turn on the headlights using the headlight dimmer switch.

    3. Check for DTCs.

  3. REPLACE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (SUB)


    1. Temporarily replace the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH (sub) with a new or normally functioning one.
