DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when there is a problem in the power supply for the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH (main) or headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH (sub).

The headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH (main) outputs DTC B242E.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Turn on the headlights using the headlight dimmer switch.

    3. Check for DTCs.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH (main) and headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH (sub) connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Temporarily replace the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly RH (sub) with a new or normally functioning one.
