DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH (main) that is incompatible with the vehicle is installed.

The headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH (main) outputs DTC B2456.

Note


  • After the headlight light control ECU sub-assembly LH (main) is replaced, vehicle information registration and initialization are necessary.

  • As the door control battery is installed between the vehicle battery and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), first perform the inspections in On-Vehicle Inspection to confirm that there are no malfunctions in the power source circuit for the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) before performing this troubleshooting procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Turn on the headlights using the headlight dimmer switch.

    3. Check for DTCs.

    1. Check that the ECM part number matches the vehicle.
