FRONT WIPER MOTOR(for RHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM COVER

      Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the windshield wiper arm cover.

      Tech Tips


      • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      • Use the same procedure for both windshield wiper arm covers.

  2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH

      Remove the nut and the front wiper arm and blade assembly RH.

  3. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01ILB3

      Remove the nut and the front wiper arm and blade assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE COWL WATER EXTRACT SHIELD RH

      Lift up the edge of the cowl water extract shield RH as shown in the illustration and detach the claw.

      B006N8A Remove in this Direction

      Pull the cowl water extract shield RH as shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the cowl water extract shield RH.

  5. REMOVE COWL WATER EXTRACT SHIELD LH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side.

  6. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. A01IG26

      Detach the claw.

      Pull the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

    Note

    Be careful not to damage the windshield when removing the windshield wiper motor and link assembly.

      B006N8A Remove in this Direction

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. Detach the motor grommet as shown in the illustration and remove the windshield wiper motor and link assembly.

  8. REMOVE FRONT WIPER CRANK SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B006N8A Remove in this Direction

      Using a screwdriver, disconnect the No. 1 windshield wiper link rod from the front wiper crank sub-assembly crank arm pivot.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Using a screwdriver, hold the windshield wiper motor crank as shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the nut and front wiper crank sub-assembly.

  9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp and remove the wire harness.

    3. A01IJ6E

      Remove the 3 bolts and windshield wiper motor assembly from the windshield wiper link assembly.
