POWER MIRROR CONTROL SYSTEM(w/ Memory) Front Passenger Side Power Mirror cannot be Adjusted with Power Mirror Switch

DESCRIPTION

When the outer mirror switch assembly mirror surface adjust switch (up/down/left/right) is operated, up/down/left/right signals are received by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU). The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the received signals to the outer mirror control ECU assembly RH*1 or LH*2 via CAN communication. The outer mirror control ECU assembly RH*1 or LH*2 receives the remote mirror selection signal and up/down/left/right signals and operates the outer rear view mirror assembly RH*1 or LH*2 up/down/left/right based on the signals.

  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to the Service Bulletin.

  • As the door control battery is installed between the vehicle battery and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), first perform the inspections in On-Vehicle Inspection to confirm that there are no malfunctions in the power source circuit for the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) before performing this troubleshooting procedure.

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

    1. Disconnect the I3*1 or I19*2 outer rear view mirror assembly (front passenger side) connector.

    2. Disconnect the I15*1 or I30*2 outer mirror control ECU assembly (front passenger side) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the I27*1 or I11*2 outer mirror switch assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the G64 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
