POWER SLIDE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH(Roof Position) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (POWER SLIDE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH)


    1. Inspect the power slide door control switch.

        (Map Light Assembly (Power Slide Door Control Switch))
        *b Power Slide Door Control Switch RH
        *c Power Slide Door Control Switch LH

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        S15-10(ROPN) - S15-16(E) Slide door open switch RH not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Slide door open switch RH pushed Below 1 Ω
        S15-11(RCLS) - S15-16(E) Slide door close switch RH not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Slide door close switch RH pushed Below 1 Ω
        S15-12(LOPN) - S15-16(E) Slide door open switch LH not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Slide door open switch LH pushed Below 1 Ω
        S15-13(LCLS) - S15-16(E) Slide door close switch LH not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Slide door close switch LH pushed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly (power slide door control switch).

  2. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH)


    1. Inspect the power back door control switch.

        (Map Light Assembly (Power Back Door Control Switch))
        *b Power Back Door Control Switch

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        S15-14(B) - S15-16(E) Power back door control switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Power back door control switch pushed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly (power back door control switch).
