DESCRIPTION
When the power back door cannot be closed using the back door control switch, either of the following may be malfunctioning: 1) back door control switch circuit or 2) back door motor unit.

Note
If the replacement, removal and installation of the back door motor unit or disconnection of the connectors of the back door motor unit has been performed, initialize the power back door system.

READ VALUE USING GTS
Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

Remove the back door control switch.
Inspect the back door control switch.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH - BACK DOOR MOTOR UNIT AND BODY GROUND)
Disconnect the U10 back door control switch connector.
Disconnect the K22 back door motor unit connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
