SLIDE DOOR CLOSER SYSTEM Slide Door Closer LH does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

The slide door closer controls the slide door motor unit LH (slide door ECU LH), receives signals from each switch inside the rear slide door lock assembly LH and drives the closer motor.

  1. CHECK SLIDE DOOR


    1. Check that no foreign objects are stuck between the vehicle body and the slide door.

      OK
      Door can be fully closed.

    REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECTS AND RE-CHECK SLIDE OPERATION

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDE DOOR MOTOR UNIT LH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

      Disconnect the slide door motor unit LH (slide door ECU LH) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K19-1 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      K19-5 (ECUB) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
