POWER SLIDE DOOR SYSTEM Assist Function does not Operate (Normal Operation via Door Control Switch) (LH Door)

DESCRIPTION

The slide door motor unit LH (slide door ECU LH) receives signals from the inside handle or outside handle in the slide door handle assembly LH and performs power slide door open or close operations.

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      ON: Outside handle operated (outside handle switch on)

    1. Remove the slide door handle assembly LH.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDE DOOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY LH - SLIDE DOOR MOTOR UNIT LH AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the J21 slide door handle assembly LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the J24 and J25 slide door motor unit LH (slide door ECU LH) connectors.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      J21-3 (DS2) - J25-11 (DS2) Always Below 1 Ω
      J21-1 (E) - J24-9 (DSG) Always Below 1 Ω
      J21-4 (DS1) - J25-13 (DS1) Always Below 1 Ω
      J21-2 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      J21-3 (DS2) or J25-11 (DS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J21-1 (E) or J24-9 (DSG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J21-4 (DS1) or J25-13 (DS1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
