HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for RHD) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Attach the clamps and grommet to install the hood lock control cable assembly.

  2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B006L27

      Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

    2. B006KO0

      Attach the claw to install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. B006OTO

      Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the hood lock assembly.

    2. Coonect the hood lock control cable assembly to the hood lock assembly.

      B006QOD Bolt
      B006LKF Connector

      Install the hood lock assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque:
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the connector.

  5. INSTALL RAIDIATOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 HEATER AIR DUCT SPLASH SHIELD SEAL

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER AIR DUCT SPLASH SHIELD SEAL

    Click here

  9. CONNECT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK

  11. INSPECT WASHER NOZZLE
