HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY(for RHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK

  2. DISCONNECT BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER AIR DUCT SPLASH SHIELD SEAL

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER AIR DUCT SPLASH SHIELD SEAL

    Click here

  5. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  6. REMOVE RAIDIATOR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

      B006LKF Connector

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. B006QQ0

      Detach the clamp, disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the claw and disconnect the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

    2. B006L27

      Disconnect the hood lock control cable and remove the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

  10. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Using a clip remover, detach the clamps as shown in the illustration.

    2. Detach the grommet and remove the hood lock control cable assembly as shown in the illustration.
