POWER SLIDE DOOR SYSTEM INITIALIZATION


  1. RESET SLIDE DOOR CLOSED POSITION

    Note

    The power slide door system must be initialized when the negative (-) battery cable is disconnected, the wire harness and slide door motor unit are replaced or removed and installed, and the ECU-B NO.1 fuse is replaced or removed and installed. The power slide door system will not operate if not initialized.


    1. Move the slide door once to the fully closed position by hand.

      Tech Tips

      This procedure is unnecessary when the negative (-) battery cable was disconnected with the slide door fully closed.
