PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (for Front Side)

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Map Light Assembly (Sliding Roof Switch Assembly))
      *b Open Switch
      *c Close Switch

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      S15-8 (OPN) - S15-16 (E) Open switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      Open switch is not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      S15-9 (CLS) - S15-16 (E) Close switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      Close switch is not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the map light assembly (sliding roof switch assembly).

  2. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (for Rear Side)

      Component without harness connected

      (Integration Control and Panel Assembly (Sliding Roof Switch Assembly))
      *b Open Switch
      *c Close Switch

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      3 (HPR+) - 12 (GND) Open switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      Open switch is not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      2 (HPR-) - 12 (GND) Close switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      Close switch is not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (sliding roof switch assembly).
