WINDSHIELD DEICER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK WINDSHIELD DEICER SYSTEM

    Note

    If the battery voltage becomes low, windshield deicer operation is canceled to prioritize supplying power to the power steering system.

    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. Check that the windshield deicer becomes warm by operating the outer mirror heater switch assembly (windshield deicer switch).

    3. When the vehicle is stopped, confirm that the windshield deicer stops after approximately 15 minutes.
