FRONT CONSOLE BOX(for Separate Type) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the upper console panel sub-assembly.

   2. Detach the claw and clip and remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.

2. REMOVE NO. 3 BOX PANEL

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Protective Tape

      Put protective tape around the No. 3 box panel.

   2. Detach the claw and remove the No. 3 box panel.

3. REMOVE NO. 2 BOX PANEL

   
   

   1. 

      Detach the claw and remove the No. 2 box panel.

4. REMOVE NO. 1 BOX PANEL

   
   

   1. 

      Detach the claw and remove the No. 1 box panel.

5. REMOVE ELECTRICAL KEY WIRE HARNESS

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Detach the clamp and remove the electrical key wire harness.

6. REMOVE NO. 1 STEREO COMPONENT WIRE

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. Detach the clamp and remove the No. 1 stereo component wire.

7. REMOVE CONSOLE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Push the parts labeled A in the illustration in the direction indicated by the arrow to fit the console compartment door sub-assembly to the upper rail.

   2. Slide in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to remove the console compartment door sub-assembly.

      

      Remove in this Direction

8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET (for Type A)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the console box pocket.

9. REMOVE CENTER CONSOLE MAT (for Type A)

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the center console mat.

10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Type A)

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 4 screws and console box pocket sub-assembly.

11. REMOVE UPPER NO. 1 CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 6 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and remove the upper No. 1 console panel garnish.

12. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX POCKET GARNISH (for Type A)

    
    

    1. 

       Detach the claw and remove the console box pocket garnish.
