CONDENSER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for ALPHARD)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for VELLFIRE)

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 3 AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FKS)

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 3 air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 3 air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE (for 2AR-FE)

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONER TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 2 air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 2 air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  7. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the battery positive terminal.

    2. Remove the bolt, nut and battery clamp sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  9. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

    Click here

  10. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER (for 2GR-FKS)

    Click here

  11. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER (for 2AR-FE)

    Click here

  12. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH (for 2GR-FKS)

    2. for VELLFIRE:

      Click here

  13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH (for 2AR-FE)


    1. for ALPHARD:

      Click here

    2. for VELLFIRE:

  14. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH (for 2GR-FKS)

  15. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH (for 2AR-FE)


    1. for ALPHARD:

  16. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS PIPE

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant suction hose.

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 water by-pass pipe.

  17. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FKS)

  18. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2AR-FE)

    Click here

  19. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  20. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD (for 2GR-FKS)

    Click here

  21. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD (for 2AR-FE)

    Click here

  22. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY

      Remove the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.

  23. REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER CONDENSER CUSHION

      B006N8A Remove in this Direction

      Remove the 4 No. 1 cooler condenser cushions.
