  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the PTC heater assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL TO FLOOR BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL TO FLOOR BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      B006LKF Bolt
      B006O7D Screw

      Disconnect each connector and detach each clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 screws, bolt, 2 nuts and No. 1 instrument panel brace sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  7. REMOVE QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors.

    2. Remove the screw and quick heater assembly.
