Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.
The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.
The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed, installed or replaced during the PTC heater assembly removal/installation are shown below.

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing.
PROCEDURE
REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 4 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL TO FLOOR BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL TO FLOOR BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Disconnect each connector and detach each clamp.
Remove the 2 screws, bolt, 2 nuts and No. 1 instrument panel brace sub-assembly.
REMOVE NO. 3 AIR DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY
REMOVE QUICK HEATER ASSEMBLY

Remove in this Direction |
Detach the clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors.
Remove the screw and quick heater assembly.
