FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Super Long Slide Seat) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

      Place the front seat assembly LH in the vehicle, as shown in the illustration.

      Note


      • Protect the front seat legs.


      • Do not damage the front seat assembly LH, body exterior or interior parts.

    2. Operate the ottoman lever to move the ottoman of the front seat assembly LH to the uppermost position.

    3. Set the front seat assembly LH on the seat rail.

    4. Attach the wire harness clamp and connect the connector.

    5. Connect the pretensioner connector.

    6. Connect the connector of the front seat airbag assembly LH.

    7. Temporarily install the front seat assembly LH with the 4 bolts.

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the front seat assembly LH.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

      Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the front seat assembly LH.

      Torque:
      50 N*m  { 510 kgf*cm, 37 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD

      Push in the installation direction shown in the illustration to attach the claw, align the guide and install the front seat cushion lower shield.

  3. INSTALL NO.1 SEAT LEG COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Front Side)

      Push in installation direction (1) shown in the illustration and attach the hook to install the No. 1 seat leg cover.

    2. Move the part in installation direction (2) shown in the illustration and attach the claw.

  4. INSTALL NO.1 SEAT LEG COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Rear Side)


    1. Operate the seat track lock open lever LH to slide the front seat assembly LH to the frontmost position.

      Inner Side:


      1. Push in installation direction (1) shown in the illustration and attach the hook to install the No. 1 seat leg cover.

      2. Move the part in installation direction (2) shown in the illustration and attach the claw.

      Outer Side:


      1. Push in installation direction (1) shown in the illustration and attach the hook to install the No. 1 seat leg cover.

      2. Move the part in installation direction (2) shown in the illustration and attach the claw.

    4. Operate the seat track lock open lever LH to slide the front seat assembly LH to its center position.

    5. Operate the seat track handle control lever LH to slide the rear No. 1 seat assembly LH to its center position.

    6. Move the rear No. 2 seat assembly LH to the seated position.

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
