  • If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

  • Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B006MAZ

      Install the vertical seat sub assembly LH with 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 3 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL SEAT LEG SUB ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B006PQY

      Install the seat leg LH with the 6 nuts.

      Torque:
      41 N*m  { 418 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf }

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT FOOTREST ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. B006NNR

      Install the front seat footrest adjuster assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      22 N*m  { 224 kgf*cm, 16 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B006NJ6

      Temporarily install the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts and 2 "TORX" bolts.

    2. Tighten the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      30 N*m  { 306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts while pushing the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

    3. Using a T55 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the 2 "TORX" bolts to install front seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

      Torque:
      30 N*m  { 306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf }

      Tech Tips

      Tighten the bolts while pushing the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH as shown in the illustration.

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOCK ASSEMBLY

      Install the front seat lock assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      4.0 N*m  { 41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf }

  6. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 19 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.


      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.
