FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Super Long Slide Seat) DISASSEMBLY

    Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

  • There is risk of injury.

  • If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

  • Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Remove the front seat headrest assembly LH.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST CAP

      Using a moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the claw and remove the No. 1 seat armrest cap.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER ARMREST ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the bolt and front seat inner armrest assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT LEG COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw.

    3. Pull out removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the No. 1 seat leg cover sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT LEG COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the screw.

    2. Detach the claw.

    3. Pull out removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the No. 1 seat leg cover sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      Remove the 2 screws amd front seat leg cover.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Lift in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the hook of the front seat cushion shield RH (for LH Seat) from the frame wire.

    7. Slide the front seat cushion shield LH in the removbal direction (1) of the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the clip while allowing it to remain on the vehicle side, and then remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

    8. Detach the clip.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION LEVER

      *1 Protective Tape

      Operate the front seat cushion lever in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and keep it raised.

    2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, detach the snap ring from the bottom of the front seat cushion lever to remove the front seat cushion lever.

  9. REMOVE SEAT TRACK LOCK OPEN LEVER LH

      Operate the seat track lock open lever in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and keep it raised.

    2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw.

    3. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the seat track lock open lever LH.

  10. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

      Operate the reclining adjuster release handle LH in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and keep it raised.

    2. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw.

    3. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction to detach the claw.

      Slide the front seat cushion shield LH in the removbal direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the clip while allowing it to remain on the vehicle side, and then remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

    5. Detach the clip.

  12. REMOVE SEAT STAND FRAME CAP

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw and remove the seat stand frame cap.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide.

      Rotate the seat track control cable assembly in the removal direction shown in the illustration and disconnect the cable end to remove the front seat track outer cover sub-assembly LH.

  14. REMOVE SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER LH

      Detach the claw and remove the shoulder belt cover LH.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. Pull out the fastenners.

  16. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the resin plate of the separate type front seatback cover LH that is installed to the opening of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

    3. Pull out the front seat outer belt assembly LH in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

      Remove the nut and disconnect the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Pull out the rear end of the seatback cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    6. Lift in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seatback cover with pad.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 10 hog rings and fastenners, separate type front seatback cover LH.

  18. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK STAY PROTECTOR

      Detach the clip.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the front seatback stay protector.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER

    2. Detach the claw and guide.

    3. Pull out the reclining adjuster inside cover in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Slide the front seat cushion shield LH in the removbal direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the clip while allowing it to remain on the vehicle side, and then remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

    2. Detach the clip.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 1 LEGREST COVER

      Using moulding remover A, detach the clip and guide and remove the front No. 1 seat leg rest cover.

  26. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. While sliding the part in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the J hook.

    3. While sliding the part in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the J hook.

      Lift the ottoman portion of the seat cushion cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    6. Pull in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  27. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 3 hog rings and disconnect the 2 straps of the separate type front seat cushion cover LH.

    2. Remove the 19 hog rings, detach the fastening tape and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover LH.
