PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the front seat headrest assembly.

  2. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP RH

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps RH in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY RH

      Detach the claw and clamp.

      Remove the 5 nuts and front seat leg assembly RH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      Remove the front seat leg cover.

  5. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH (for Slide)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the power seat switch knob RH.

  6. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB RH (for Reclining)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the power seat switch knob RH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

      Using moulding remover A, lift in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and push down in the removal direction to detach the claw.

      Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    3. Move the part in the removal direction to detach the guide and remove the 2 assist grip plugs.

  14. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the assist grip.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  17. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL COVER RH

      Remove the 4 screws and seatback climate control cover RH.

  18. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the 4 hog rings.

      Detach the fastening tape.

      Pull out the rear end of the seatback cover with pad in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    9. Lift in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seatback cover with pad.

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 10 hog rings, detach the fastening tape and remove the separate type front seatback cover.

  20. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

      Remove the 21 hog rings, detach the fastening tape and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  29. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  34. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    2. Detach the clamp and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly RH.

  35. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and guide and remove the connector holder.

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    4. Detach the claw and clamp and remove the front seat wire RH.

      Using a screwdriver, detach the guide and remove the front seatback frame sub-assembly RH.

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
