PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the front seat headrest assembly.

  2. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP LH

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps LH in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY LH

      Detach the claw and clamp.

      Remove the 5 nuts and front seat leg assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      Remove the front seat leg cover.

  5. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH (Slide and Vertical, Lifter)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the power seat switch knob LH.

  6. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH (for Reclining)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the power seat switch knob LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Using moulding remover A, lift in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and push down in the removal direction to detach the claw.

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    7. Detach the clamp.

    8. Detach the hook.

    9. Detach the claw and open the hinge cover and remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Detach the clip and pry in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the front seat inner No. 1 cushion shield LH.

      Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    3. Move the part in the removal direction to detach the guide and remove the 2 assist grip plugs.

  13. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the assist grip.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Detach the band.

      Pull in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    3. Pull up in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly LH.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Detach the claw and pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  16. REMOVE SEATBACK CLIMATE CONTROL COVER LH

      Remove the 4 screws and seatback climate control cover LH.

  17. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Remove the 4 hog rings.

      Detach the J hook.

      B006PCE Fastening Tape

      Detach the fastening tape.

      Disconnect the connector.

    6. Detach the clamp.

      Remove the nut and bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Pull out the rear end of the seatback cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    9. Lift in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seatback cover with pad.

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 10 hog rings, detach the fastening tape and remove the separate type front seatback cover.

  19. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

      Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover.

  25. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    2. Detach the hook.

    3. Detach the clamp and remove the front No. 2 seat wire LH.

  28. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp and remove the seat heater control LH.

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Detach the claw and guide and remove the connector holder.

    3. B006N24

      Disconnect the 5 connectors.

    4. Detach the claw and clamp and remove the front seat wire LH.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 4 bolts.

      B006PCE Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, detach the guide and remove the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  31. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Pull in removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the claw and hook and remove the front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  32. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

  33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the hook.

    3. Lift in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the clip.

    4. Pull in the removal direction (3) shown in the illustration to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  34. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  35. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL DUCT LH

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver, detach the claw.

      Note

      Do not dirty or damage the seat cushion climate control duct LH.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the seat cushion climate control duct LH in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

  36. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the screw and open the seat cushion climate control blower assembly LH bracket in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    2. Move in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide, hook and remove the seat cushion climate control blower assembly LH.

  37. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION BRACKET LH

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Detach the guide and remove the front seat cushion bracket LH.

  38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  42. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
