    Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

  • There is risk of injury.

  • If the front seat side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback frame sub-assembly, separate type front seatback cover and separate type front seatback pad with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

  • Replace any other damaged parts as necessary.

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the front seat headrest assembly.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT ARMREST CAP (w/ Armrest)

      Using a moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the claw and remove the No. 1 seat armrest cap.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER ARMREST ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Armrest)

      Remove the bolt and front seat inner armrest assembly LH.

  4. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP LH

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps LH in the removal direction shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY LH

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp
      *2 Connector Clamp

      Detach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

      Remove the 5 nuts and front seat leg assembly LH.

  6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LEG COVER

      Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the front seat leg cover.

  7. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH (Slide and Vertical, Lifter)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the power seat switch knob LH.

  8. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH (for Reclining)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the power seat switch knob LH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Using moulding remover A, lift in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the clip.

      Pull in the removal direction to detach the claw and guide and remove the front seat inner No. 1 cushion shield LH.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Using moulding remover A, lift in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and push down in the removal direction to detach the claw.

      Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction to detach the claw and guide.

      Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide.

    4. Detach the clip.

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp
      *2 Connector Clamp
      *3 Hook

      Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    6. Detach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

    7. Detach the hook.

    8. Detach the claw and remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

  11. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

      Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction to detach the claw and guide and remove the front seat inner cushion shield LH.

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (w/ Seatback Hook)

      Open the hook as shown in the illustration, and then using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the bottom claw. While pulling as shown, detach the top claw and remove the front seatback hook.

  14. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP PLUG (w/ Seatback Board)

      Using moulding remover A, push in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Move the part in the removal direction to detach the guide and remove the 2 assist grip plugs.

  15. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP (w/ Seatback Board)

      Remove the 2 bolts and the assist grip.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seatback Board)

      Pull in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

    2. Pull up in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the front seatback board sub-assembly LH.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Remove the band in the position shown in the illustration.

    2. w/ Seatback Hook:

        Remove the 3 hog rings.

      2. B006KYF

        Open the fastener.

    3. w/ Seatback Board:

        Remove the 5 hog rings.

        Remove the clip.

        While rotating the part in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the J hook, and then remove the seatback cover with pad while twisting in the removal direction.

      Detach the claw and pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  18. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. w/ Seatback Board:

        Detach the fastening tape and disconnect the wire harness of the front seat airbag assembly LH.

      2. B006KRN

        Disconnect the connector.

      3. Detach the wire harness clamp.

    2. w/o Seatback Board:

        B006PCE Fastening Tape

        Detach the fastening tape and disconnect the wire harness of the front seat airbag assembly RH.

      Remove the nut and disconnect the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

      Pull out the rear end of the seatback cover with pad in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration.

    5. Lift in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to remove the seatback cover with pad.

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Remove the 10 hog rings, detach the fastening tape and remove the separate type front seatback cover.

  20. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

  25. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the seat cushion heater wire harness from the seat cushion spring LH.

      While sliding the part in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration, detach the J hook and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.

  26. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Remove the 2 hog rings and disconnect the 2 straps of the separate type front seat cushion cover RH from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

    2. B006KSX

      Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover.

  27. REMOVE SEAT COVER WIRE

      Remove the seat cover wire.

      Detach the wire harness clamp and connector clamp.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    4. w/o Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the 2 connectors.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE

      Detach the hook and wire harness clamp.

    2. Disconnect the connector and remove the front seat No. 2 wire.

  31. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

    2. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guide.

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH

    2. While rotating the part in removal direction (1) shown in the illustration, detach the claw.

  34. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH

  35. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 4 bolts.

      Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, lift in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the guide.

    3. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to remove the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  36. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

      Detach the connector clamp and remove the seat heater control LH.

  37. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  38. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

    2. Rotate the part in removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
