CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM Climate Control System does not Operate on Rear Left Side

DESCRIPTION

The rear seat climate control ECU LH receives rear power seat switch position signals when the engine switch is on (IG), and then transmits airflow amount signals to each seat climate blower.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH - REAR SEAT BACK CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH)


    1. Disconnect the Y25 rear seat climate control blower LH connector.

    2. Disconnect the R1 rear seat back climate control blower LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Y25-3 (IGB) - R1-1 (IGB) Always Below 1 Ω
      Y25-3 (IGB) or R1-1 (IGB) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Y25-4 (VS) - R1-2 (VS) Always Below 1 Ω
      Y25-4 (VS) or R1-2 (VS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Y25-2 (GND2) - R1-3 (GND2) Always Below 1 Ω

    1. Disconnect the Y24 rear seat climate control ECU LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Y24-13 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      Y24-12 (IG) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch off Below 1 V
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
