COMBINATION METER REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are installed, removed or replaced during the combination meter installation/removal are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    CAUTION:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE CENTER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL (for Separate Console Box Type)

      Disengage the claws to pull the combination meter assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. B006O2V

      Disengage the clamp.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors to remove the combination meter assembly.
